I talk a lot about planning. I think it works. I think it is necessary. I plan things all the time. This can be a trap though. Planning is not doing. All the planning in world means nothing without execution. Your plans can be amazing. You might have a plan that could see you take over the world, or be a millionaire in a year, or be fitter than ever. However, if you do not actually do something, you will never achieve anything. Making a plan doesn’t stop procrastination. In fact, I think sometimes it encourages it. You can get so caught up in creating a wonderful plan that you never really get anything worthwhile done.
Use plans. But use them wisely. And be sure to do something, anything rather than nothing.

Procrastination is opportunity’s assassin – Victor Kiam
Are you a procrastinator?
Do you routinely put things off until tomorrow even though you could do them today?
No matter how much someone tells you that procrastination is a negative state, things won’t change unless you want them to. So, today it’s time to think about whether you are a habitual procrastinator or not. No! You can’t put it off until later.
It’s all too easy to get stuck in a rut. Every now and then you just need someone or something to come along and give you a gentle nudge – or a solid kick – to get you back on track.
A Spanish proverb tells us that “tomorrow is often the busiest day of the week”, yet we still try to delay what we could otherwise do today. When it comes to our health & fitness we often put it off until later. How many times have you had every intention of cooking a healthy meal but have ordered take away instead, thinking that you’ll eat better tomorrow? How often have you woken up early to go to the gym only to decide that you’d rather do that tomorrow too?
Here’s a wonderful quote that is perfect for everyone who wants to be fitter, healthier and happier but just doesn’t get around to doing what’s required:
“To be always intending to make a new and better life but never to find time to set about it is as…to put off eating and drinking and sleeping from one day to the next until you’re dead.” – Og Mandino.
