Why do you go to the gym (or wherever it is that you train)?
I really do want to know. I’ve been a trainer for a while now and used to ask this question of every client but invariably I heard “I just want to get fit”. But, what does that mean? “Fit” for you might be entirely different to “fit” for me. So, if you have a moment, please take the time to have a think about it and write a comment detailing your motivation.

If you are trying to get into shape (I hate the term lose weight) then remember that you have to focus on more than one aspect of your lifestyle. Solely focusing on diet or exercise will not bring about the results that combined action will.
So, make sure that you eat properly, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, relax, get your ails and ills treated, smile, have fun and enjoy life.
If you think you’ll get into shape just by employing a trainer or joining a gym you are sadly mistaken. Positive changes take time and effort but the rewards are substantial.
